Eggs Are Funny is solid, and would serve as a neat introduction to the band. But given the size of their discography at the time, one would wonder if the listeners money would be better spent on copies of Frengers and Kites (and moving onto No More Stories afterwards). They're less consistent than this compilation for sure, but worth the money.

This is the very first song I heard from Mew. My older brother had mentioned them saying that they were the best band ever and I was like yeah okay (I was still pretty into Death Cab For Cutie at that time). Years later I was on purevolume at in the morning listening to Am I Wry? No.
